Disadvantages Every button press makes a loud beep, not mentioned, and noise disturbs sleep for others at night.

I bought this Tokai LRE-161 Alarm Clock clock because it looked like a good idea. I thought that the top chrome cap was a button to stop the alarm, but it's not. It's the cover for the loudspeaker! To stop the alarm, you press the other buttons, which is not intuitive.

Each button press makes a really loud beep, which is unnecessary, annoying, and disturbs others when used late at night. It is not possible to turn this off, or the volume down.

In fact, the natural sound samples are also quite loud, and I wish I could just turn them down a little bit.

There is no regular alarm clock ringing sound, and I think it should. Otherwise, a good product for the price paid.
