Devout Pizza Lover Approves of this Frozen Pizza

Advantages: Easy to cook, great flavour, great value!
Disadvantages: Almost, but not quite as good as a Dominos. Just as unhealthy.

...heard the advert for this Chicago Town pizza again recently. They claim a survey of people preferred it to a Dominos' and a Pizza Hut take-out. My first thoughts were "Err, I don't think so. I guess its possible if they ordered from the worst Dominos' and Pizza Hut franchises in the country". A few days later I was shopping and decided to give these a try (so the advert worked). I bought a couple (2 for £6 at Tesco) of the Pepperoni ones. ~ What ...
...from most/all the other frozen pizzas because: 1) It comes with a tray which you cook it on, making it so much less messy. You can just slide the pizza from the tray on to your plate once its cooked! 2) You cook it in the oven from cold instead of preheating the oven. This didn't sound right to me however, so I warmed up the oven a little first and then kept an eye on it and served it when it was golden brown. 3) It comes with a generous helping ...

The most accesible pizza

Advantages: taste, you can have anytime, anywhere
Disadvantages: supermarket walk

Dr. Oetker Ristorante allows you or your entire family to eat a delicious pizza where ever you want (in your bad, living room, garden). All you have to do is to go to the closest super market and buy a frozen pizza, then put it in the oven, watch tv or play with your family and just after a few minutes you meal is ready. It offers the advantage that you can buy it in your regular shoping, you can prepare it whenever you want and you don't have to ...

Mmmmm, pizza! I love a deep...... dish!

Advantages: Great taste, quick to make
Disadvantages: Not so cheap when not on special :( High in calories

I purchased a box of these pizzas in the cheese variety from my local Tesco for £1 (special offer at the time). They have been redesigned slightly and are advertised as "full of taste, from brim to base" and I would definitely agree with this claim, they now have even more cheese and sauce than ever! These come in a cardboard box (quick to recycle) and are wrapped in plastic with a paper circle disc base (one side paper, one side metallic) and for ...
...to make sure the bottom of the pizza gets cooked also. They take about 20 minutes in the oven and 3 minutes in the microwave, I would definitely recommend microwave cooking and when I made these in the oven by other half complained that they weren't as nice as they are from the microwave, so I'll know for next time (aren't men helpful!). Each pizza is 170g each in weight and the calories vary from variety, they are normally somewhere between 350 ...

Not over impressed

Advantages: It was almost tasty enough
Disadvantages: There are better Pizza's out there

Pizza over the last few years has become more and more popular, and getting one delivered to your door is simplicity nowadays. The main two suppliers of delivery Pizza’s are Dominoes and Pizza Hut, both serving good Pizza with lots of trimmings should you require. They are however quite expensive compared to the Pizza you can buy in any supermarket, even if you take into account the massive savings they frequently offer on orders over a certain amount. ...
...for the cheapest way to feed your family yet still give them a decent meal. If Pizza is your choice for the day then I suggest the supermarket is the place to go, I’m in no way particularly pointing you towards the product on review although you could do far worse. Goodfellows are frequently advertised on TV, which in itself is no great boost to confidence since if a product requires such aggressive advertisement then it probably means the sales ...

theres a fly in my pizza!

Advantages: A Real Italian taste
Disadvantages: a fly was on mine

well, after some comments, heres a bit more information on the the pizza, and less on the fly. I purchased it from my local sainsburys supermarket, at a very competitive price of 2.50, which really is a great price compared to goodfellas attempt on italian, and dr. oata-whats-his-name. It was easy enough to cook for the standard non-cooking person, the only problem I came across was the need not to preheat the oven, which, after i had done, was ...
...When it was cooked however, it appeared to be very nice looking, the cooking times and instructions were accurate, and made the pizza lovely and succelent as well as a fantastic aroma for my kitchen. The taste was very nice, and very much like the one i had in italy, (which made me investigate pizzas once more). The combination of the sweet and mildly salty sauce with the real italian cheese and thin crust was wonderful. The only thing i didn't like ...
