Advantages: Easy to Use Disadvantages: Need to apply a couple of times a year
...got rid of them using Nemasys Vine Weevil Killer.

I was out pottering around one day when I started complaining to my husband that one of our plants that had been in a tub for years didn't seem to be growing at all. It was then that I decided I would re-pot this poor plant to see if it was pot bound and could do with a bigger tub. We bought ... ...plant out. YUK! You can imagine my disgust when the whole tub seemed to be full of wriggling little grubs, some were white and some were going brown. Luckily I had my gardening gloves on. "Well at least I know why this plants not growing" I thought.

...centre, as I wanted more Lavender plants to plant along my path. Lavender is my favourite herb and I already have dozens of plants in my garden. The gorgeous scent and colour of lavender remind me of holidays in the South of France!

Lavender is not expensive to buy; I paid £2.00 each for established plants. ... ...Lavender is less hardly than its English counterpart, but has gorgeous butterfly type flowers. French lavender likes to be in full sun with well-drained soil. I grow mine in a large pot on my sunny patio. If you grow your lavender in a container then you will need to water it. You must also ensure the pot is large enough as lavender has long roots.
English lavender is much more hardy than the French variety and once established will need little ...

So easy even I can't kill it!
Advantages: - Disadvantages: -
...leaf - and that's my money plant, gifted to me by my mum . The money plant, Crassula Ovata (or Jade plant as it is known in China) comes from the succulent family, the same family as cactus plants . Luckily, it has no prickly bits, so is safe for little kiddy fingers and cats that like to eat everything. Luckily for the plant, this also means it it able to store water in the leaves and roots to call on when I forget to water it! It is an attractive ... ...doesn't mean it's dying - money plants LOVE the sunlight, although they are just as happy sitting in a dark corner somewhere . They also flower, tiny white blossoms, although mine has only ever done this once , after I deprived it of water for a particularly long time . I've never had to feed my plant, and I leave mine on my kitchen windowsill in direct sunlight . I water it a little probably once every two or three weeks, only a couple of teaspoons ...

Adam's Apple
Advantages: tasty, healthy Disadvantages: none
Did Eve give Adam an apple in paradise? The bible doesn't mention one, only the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
