The .Audio 45 is lightweight with a very flexible headband, although it is a little on the flimsy side and not overly attractive.
The speaker drivers are constructed from hard plastic and are covered by thin pads. As a result, they aren't very comfortable to wear. Seperate cables come down from both sides, increasing the chances of getting yourself in a tangle.
This headset can be connected either by USB or standard analog connections. However, the microphone plug lacks colour coding, so you're forced to peer at the symbols on the connectors to find out which is which. this isn't too much of an issue, but it makes things more difficult when you're scrabbling about the back of your comnputer. Set up is very easy, it really is just plug and play - although this will clearly vary on whick VoIP system you use - I've used it with Skype (just go to Skype preferences and set the audio input and output to 'PlantronicsHeadset') as well as MSN's & Yahoo's systems with no problems.
As far as I can tell, or in terms of comments I have had from people I've been Skype-ing with, voice quality at the other end is very good and the sound quality at this end is great too. Youcan also use the headset to listen to CD's, MP3's etc - just fold ...
