I recently bought my dad one of these for him to use at work & he is very impressed with it, I had a quick play with it & I thought it was great as well. I purchased it from play.com for a very good £34.99, I had looked around in other shops & also online & this was the cheapest I found it. On some sites they were selling it for a ridiculous £65.99! My dad was never keen on the Bluetooth headsets that rest over your ear & he preferred the other type like the Jabra ones that go around the ear but I bought him this & he's extremely pleased with it.
I can safely say that the sound quality is immensely better than his old Jabra headset. It fits great on the ear & is very comfortable, after a while you forget that it's there. It is really simple to use with only one button to turn on & off, volume up/down & to accept calls which I think all headsets should be like as no one likes to be fiddling around with someone you can't even see! The standby & talk time are both great, I charged it fully when it arrived all night & put it on the next day, I had it connected to my phone for about 4 days before it flashed low battery & that was with a lot of phone calls too. The standby time is 180 hours which is phenomenal compared to the old Jabra headset which would only last about a day & a half & the talk time is 8 hours which again is a huge improvement on the Jabra.
This device has something called multi point which is where you can switch between 2 Bluetooth devices i.e. your phone & your laptop. This is extremely simple to do & only takes literally 30 seconds to switch.
The connection is also really fast & incredibly simple. On previous devices I have found that it wont connect to a make of phone even though it tells you on the box it is compatible. I looked at the list of compatible devices on the play.com website & it's endless. It does every brand I can think of & pretty much every make old & new so chances are this device will suit your phone but of course it always pays to check before buying!
I think the best thing about this device is the noise reduction feature. I have rung a person who was using this device while they were outside near a busy road & I couldn't hear anything but them, it was like they were in a silent room by themselves, I was really impressed because I was expecting to barely be able to hear them but it's a really crisp sound. All in all this headset is brilliant & I don't have any negatives about it at all.
