Plantronics CS 60 Headset

I have recently started using the CS60 Plantronic headsets at my new place of work. I currently work in customer services and therefore wear a headset everyday as part of my job. Until now I have used a range of headsets in various different places of work, however this is the first time I have ever used a wireless headset. Rather than headset wires coming from the back of my phone - the phone is connected to a dock, which remotely connects to my headset. We use these headsets at work, and they are fantastic. In our industry we need the ability to use both hands whilst working. In the past we would hold the phone handset between our ears and our shoulders which, along with being quite uncomfortable, actually breaks the rules of health and safety! The headset is light and you can easily forget you are wearing it. We did have someone finish a shift once and walk out of the room still wearing one! My colleagues and I were all equipped with new Plantronics headsets after we requested them to assist us on a day to day basis. We spend long periods of time on the telephone and have to keep detailed notes of every conversation we have. Taking notes either on the computer or in the old fashioned way of pen and paper while searching through a file for information you need to pass on to a customer meant that most days we would all go home with terrible back and neck pain after spending 4-5 hours with the phone clamped between our ear and shoulder.
