Advantages: Lightweight, Easy To Use & Reliable Disadvantages: None As Yet
...This is a very reasonable headset for the £40 paid for it. It can be used on both ears quite easily. This can be done by twisting the over-ear piece to accommodate which ear is preferred. The button configuration on the headset is convenient for both left and right handed people.
I went for this headset because I bought a different Plantronics headset about a year ago and I could find no faults with it. So far, I can find no faults with the new 510. I find that the sound quality is extremely good, and it allows you to hear the conversation easily while driving along in the car.
Also what I find very convenient is the additional cable that allows you to charge the headset in the car from a cigarette lighter. In the box was also 2 other additional ear pieces, that can be changed for every ear.
It is lightweight and easy to carry...

Advantages: Helps you co-ordinate attacks/defence with your online gaming clan Disadvantages: USB would be easier to have instead of 2 audio/microphone plugs
...When I did a lot of online gaming, everyone in our clan needed the ability to talk to one another on *comms* - which is were essential for competitive gaming to co-ordinate attacks or defence as soldiers in WW2. Trouble was, my cheap headset made it hard for others to hear me (lots of crackle) and was uncomfortable to wear as well.
So I treated myself to the Plantronics Audio 90, and immediately I had perfect clarity of all the game sounds, and of all the voices of my friends, and they could now hear me perfectly.
Very comfortable to wear. The headset is not flimsy but has a decent weight to it without being overly heavy, and a feeling of quality.
There is a volume up/down wheel on a panel on the cable. Also a mute switch. Occasionally the mute switch would catch on my clothes and I'd spend a while working out why no one...
