Advantages: Sleek, original design, great handsfree device
Disadvantages: can fall off head now and then, also quite flimsy

I've been using mine whenever I get the chance and have since didtched the motorola headset I was previously using. They come in 6 different colours and ave a silver ear piece and a silver voice piece end. You wear it by wrapping around your ear and have the bottom bit poking out from under your lobe and towards you lips. The unique design of this little gadget is meant for ultimate comfort and so is flexiable and adjustable for all ear sizes and head shapes. Keeping it in your ear

Advantages: Lightweight, good voice quality, long battery life
Disadvantages: charging connection is a little fussy

I seem to get through these things at a regular rate. I came home the other day and went to put my earpiece on charge when I discovered that it wasn't there. The wire ear loop was there and the ear gel, but the body of the earpiece had somehow gone missing, somewhere between Bristol and Swanage, so if anyone spots a lonely earpiece hanging from a tree send it home. In time its replacement arrived and turned out to be this one, the Plantronics 655. What can I say about it? it works. it charged up and the next morning it turned in on, held down the power button and waited for the light to flash alternate red and blue. I then scanned for it with my PDA phone and it found it, prompting for the security code. I keyed 0000 and the pairing was complete. Review of Plantronics Discovery 655 Headset

'Must Have' Bluetooth Headset

Advantages: Very comfortable, good earpiece volume, stylish, many extras
Disadvantages: None that I can find.

REASONS FOR CHOICE I did an above average (for me) amount of research before choosing this headset and tried several different models belonging to friends and colleagues. I travel frequently and required good earpiece volume for noisy environments (train, driving etc) and comfort for wearing extended periods of time. It also had to work well with my Treo 650 (it does). For other features, average/satisfactory performance would have satisfied me. I was not disappointed, as the Discovery 640 met and exceeded my criteria. PRICE At time of writing 27/2/06, this headset is available online for around £50 incl. VAT and delivery.
