Advantages: Lightweight, Easy to use, Comfortable Disadvantages: Amplified Background noise, separate amplifier required for good volume control
...and the volume of the phone could only increase this marginally.
As such, I would highly recommend using an amplifier (also from Plantronics) between the headset and the phone. This allows the volume to be controlled fully and removes this as a potential downfall of the equipment.
One of my complaints with the headset is that the microphone appears to be more sensitive to background noise, compared to the tradtitional handset. On a small number of calls I have reverted to using the traditional handset over the headset due to the noise interference, however this does not happen often.
Overall, I would highly recommend this headset....

Advantages: Sleek, original design, great handsfree device Disadvantages: can fall off head now and then, also quite flimsy
...COST: £6.28
PLACE OF PURCHASE: The Link
BRAND: Plantronics
SIZE: 11cm
These are wicked new handsfree devices suitable for all mobiles, and was released earlier this year. I've been using mine whenever I get the chance and have since didtched the motorola headset I was previously using. They come in 6 different colours and ave a silver ear piece and a silver voice piece end. The unique design of this little gadget is meant for ultimate comfort and so is flexiable and adjustable for all ear sizes and head shapes. Which I personally thought was great as I've got rater small ears and the handsfree gizmoz I'd tried before where way too big and always caused me pain.
My favourite part about this is not only does...

Advantages: comfy all day wear Disadvantages: loud feedback
...This headset is a bit expensive for its quality. Although i bought mine outside the country for a considerable lesser price, had i known better, i would have bought a wireless one.
It is still functional after two years. I lost both of the voice tube microphone cover though and i think that is whats causing too much echo when i talk and too much mic sensitivity. That also causes alot of feed back so i have to press on mute all the time, and everytime i am done speaking, to avoid the feedbacks.
On the upside it supports all Plantronics amplifiers and USB-to-headsetadapters so i guess i just have to get one. It is also comfortable to wear for long hours. I would not recommend to get leatherette ear cushions, that made my ears sweat and itchy eeks....

We use these headsets at work, and they are fantastic. In our industry we need the ability to use both hands whilst working. In the past we would hold the phone handset between our ears and our shoulders which, along with being quite uncomfortable,... more
