Advantages: Great battery life. Very customizable.
Disadvantages: Mute function. Bad noise cancelling.

the bottom of one side of the unit is pushed to mute. After that the unit beeps every few seconds and there's no way to disable this function. That gets really annoying during a hours long conference call. The biggest problem is the mic. Or more accuratly the noise cancelling. I have never found a setting that filters out background noise while allowing clients to clearly hear me. This is really the aspect of the headset that needs work most. It's difficult maintaining a clients attention of they can hear everything in the background. If they could perfect this aspect of the unit it would be perfect. All in all it's just short of perfect. I would recommend this headset for managers and professionals with their own office. For everyone else, wait for version 2.0. ...

This headset is a bit expensive for its quality. Although i bought mine outside the country for a considerable lesser price, had i known better, i would have bought a wireless one. It is still functional after two years. I lost both of the voice tube microphone cover though and i think that is whats causing too much echo when i talk and too much mic sensitivity. That also causes alot of feed back so i have to press on mute all the time, and everytime i am done speaking, to avoid the feedbacks. On the upside it supports all Plantronics amplifiers and USB-to-headset adapters so i guess i just have to get one. It is also comfortable to wear for long hours. I would not recommend to get leatherette ear cushions, that made my ears sweat and itchy eeks. ...

Fantastic wireless headset for all uses

Advantages: Great volume , very light, works over long distances
Disadvantages: Fiddly set-up

wireless channels. There is a volume control on the headset itself as well as a disconnect button. This disconnect button doesn't actually hang up the phone, it simply disconnects the headset from the phone. If you did this during a phone call you could press the button again and the caller would still be there. I must point out that this is not a mute button as you cannot hear the person on the other end if you push the disconnect button. This is the only issue I have with the headset. You cannot hang up or answer a call from the headset. This may be the way we have it set up at work. We have the handset still connected so we have the option of using the headset or the handset. If we want to answer the phone we need to lift the normal phone handset then push the connect button on the headset in order for it to work. If you need a wireless ...
