When this headset arivved I was excited. I was really looking forward to being able to walk around while I talk to my clients. There are a number of positive and a few negative qualitys. First is the wireless design. This couldn't be better. I love the range and the power the antenna has. The major wireless unit before this one had a remote and carrying it around was a major hassle. Second is the battery life. This is great as well. I can talk all day on a single charge no problem. Finally I really love the range of settings to choose from. This unit has the loudest max I've ever heard. Now for the flipside. The unit takes a very long time to charge fully. I use it for three hours and it takes over an hour to recharge. The unit has only one way to mute, this is probably the most annoying aspect of the design. A small button one the bottom of one side of the unit is pushed to mute. After that the unit beeps every few seconds and there's no way to disable this function. That gets really annoying during a hours long conference call. The biggest problem is the mic. Or more accuratly the noise cancelling. I have never found a setting that filters out background noise while allowing clients to clearly hear me. This is really the aspect of the headset that needs work most. It's difficult maintaining a clients attention of they can hear everything in the background. If they could perfect this aspect of the unit it would be perfect. All in all it's just short of perfect. I would recommend this headset for managers and professionals with their own office. For everyone else, wait for version 2.0.
