Let me just start by saying that I'm a receptionist and in my line of work it helps to have a system which allows you to have both your hands free because of the multiple tasks that need to be done all at once.

One of the things that annoy me about this system is the cable/lead that has the plug (which goes into the phone port) connected to it; I find that it is too short, this means that I can not move it out of the way thus I find myself always fighting with it.
The other thing you should keep in mind is the battery life; if you are using it a lot like me you will need to replace them every four months. This system needs two AA batteries in order for it to operate. So all in all I would say it is not very expensive to run especially if you can get rechargeable batteries. I have seen the Plantronics Vista M12e (BRAND NEW) advertised for £83.42 at Best4systems put their delivery costs are a bit steep: £9.99. You could probably pick one up second-hand cheap, I'll keep my eye out and report back if I come across a good deal.
