...This is a very reasonable headset for the £40 paid for it. It can be used on both ears quite easily. This can be done by twisting the over-ear piece to accommodate which ear is preferred. The button configuration on the headset is convenient for both left and right handed people.
I went for this headset because I bought a different Plantronicsheadset about a year ago and I could find no faults with it. So far, I can find no faults with the new 510. I find that the sound quality is extremely good, and it allows you to hear the conversation easily while driving along in the car.
Also what I find very convenient is the additional cable that allows you to charge the headset in the car from a cigarette lighter. In the box was also 2 other additional ear pieces, that can be changed for every ear.
It is lightweight and easy to carry...

Advantages: Cable clip, Volume control Disadvantages: Short Life Span
...headphones 2 years ago because my usual computer headphones had broke after a little foot stomping accident. I was also in need of a working microphone because the microphone I received with my computer was lacking in sound quality and they snapped after the instance of them being used. This meant that I was set on purchasing a headset because they saved me the effort of buying a microphone and headsetplus they would be more efficient when I was gaming. After much dedicated flipping through the saliva enduced catalogue of argos I found the computer headset section which featured a range of generic brand headsets and a page especially for plantronics. I had heard from word...

Advantages: lets you talk for free Disadvantages: not the most comfortable / adjustable headphones
...Having been introduced to Skype (www.skype.com) recently by a colleague, I though I'd get myself a headset to make full use of this service - ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF SKYPE ITSELF.
This pack consists of a set of headphones with an lenglth and angle adjustable (but not very) boom microphone on one side with an in-line mute/volume control switch on the nice long cable (with a clip to attach it to your shirt) that ends in a pair of jack plugs - one to plus in to your PC's headphone socket, and one to plug into the microphone socket. Also in the box is an adaptor that converts those jack plugs to a USB plus - great if your PC doesn't have a soundcard (and hence no jack plug sockets), or, like me and my laptop, you want to plus the headset into a docking station to allow hassle free docking/undocking.
The headset itself is OK...

We use these headsets at work, and they are fantastic. In our industry we need the ability to use both hands whilst working. In the past we would hold the phone handset between our ears and our shoulders which, along with being quite uncomfortable,... more
