8 months and still happy..

Advantages: Clear and smooth picture quality, easy to operate, inputs accessible
Disadvantages: Power consumption

Stylish and does an excellent job. Having spent hours viewing a wide range of plasma and LCD TVs this stood out as not only an exceptional picture quality but also the one with the least movement blur. This unit is suitable and competent with all types of programme. The control buttons are not visible from the front so not accessible to children and if wall mounted, as I have mine, well out of reach of kids until they are in their terrible ...

Review of Pioneer PDP 427 XD

PDP-4280 XD - Crispier than a Chinese Duck!

Advantages: Excellent sound, excellent vision, modern technology at its best
Disadvantages: A tad expensive, slight issue with shadows

The Pioneer 4280XD a fantastic choice of television and quite possibly one of the best plasma options currently out of the market, before it's release there was a massive hype within the circles that follow this sort of thing and you should know that the visual quality even when not on High Definition is absolutely gob smacking but then for the price it retails at, you'd expect as much wouldn't you? Unfortunately there isn't all that much I can tell ...

PDP4270xd GREAT Value palsma!!

Advantages: Value for money, pure blacks and contrast reproduction
Disadvantages: 1 x HDMI, no PC input, cant take 1080i or p signal unlike 427xd

i am a experienced tv retailer and i am hell bound to give my personal and impartial opinion. this tv is a great buy for those who can see the light and realise that 1080i/p signals are too far off to be buying a 1920x1080 res tv now!! although most people who have the money will probably opt for the higher model (PDP427xd) as this has the ability for process the 1080i signals and re-interpolate them to fit the 768 screen personally i feel from ...
...if it is set to the 720p mode as then the TV is not messing with the signal. the tv does benefit from having the best Plasma Contrast processor on the market and this shows especially when you are watching movies and sport. this is normally a given when it comes to the Plasma VS LCD debate but even against other Plasmas this TV and the higher model are a cut above!!! i have used a PS3 on this TV as i sell those aswell and was waiting for them ...

This Plasma Is in a class of its own

Advantages: Slim , Wall Mountable , Fantastic Picture Quality
Disadvantages: Weight

Working for dixons i was blessed with the opportunity of unboxing this picture of beauty and elegance. I did find that for a plasma tv it was still quite heavy. The installation of this was very easy connections were all marked clearly and intuctions were really easy to understand.
