LG 50 PS3000 good value for the money Advantages: Unmatched picture quality Disadvantages: a little slow starting up We recently purchased the LG 50 PS3000, and have found that the picture quality is amazing. It truly is different from any other High Definition television we have ever had. The TV works well especially with sports and movies. In my opinion, certainly the best value for the money. LG 50PG3000 Value for money Advantages: easy to use many features included Disadvantages: Uses a lot of electricity I have owned this LG 50in for a couple of months now and all in all I am pretty pleased with it. I found it quick and easy to install but did have trouble getting it on the wall brackets due to the weight of it. The picture quality is one of the best I have come across and fantastic when playing computer games on. The sound needs a bit of fiddling around with at first to get it just right and needs adapting for different types of viewing such as ... ...nothing to really complain about. the built in freeview feature is great most of the time but occasionally loses signal meaning I have to turn the tv off and on again. I wish i had shopped around for this as it vary quite dramatically in price depending on where you but it from. As sleek as the day is long Advantages: Astonishing images, beautiful exterior, simple to use, fantastic price Disadvantages: Image Retention is noticeable, tweaking is needed to get the most out of the set ...when you look at the LG is the absolutely stunning looks it possesses. Piano black bevel surrounding a 42" screen, all beneath a single sheet of anti-glare glass. More than just the beautiful effect it produces, as if the TV is a single flat pane, it genuinely makes the image feel bigger because it's not hemmed in by bulky edges. HD? Maybe Just A Little. Advantages: Picture, Sound. Disadvantages: Small fault and replacement handcontrols cost a fair bit. One of the most average-est 50" plasma TV out today. Firstly you'll probably have to buy an decent stand to lift the TV, as the stand it comes with leaves it not that far off the ground. Secondly, sometimes the TV becomes slightly faulty in the way that when it gets switched on, the white light appears but then the TV becomes unresponsive. The only way to fix that is to switch it off at the back. Apart from that little annoying fault the TV is ... ...it justice, still it is quite highly defined and sharp most of the time. The picture is best using either HD or BR DVDs. It only cost us around £1500, we got it from eBay. We ended up spending abut £200 on a stand that'd hold it. Another slight downfall is the setup, it took around half a day to set up and install and the instructions weren't that clear. Also the brightness/colour and things like that cant be changed and sometimes the colours can ...
