GREAT, this is by far the best TV i have had i would buy, one for every room if it were to make a difference. i think that everyone should have one. i made the films and programes come alive and really enhansed the experiences. i hope that this t.v is to be sold with upgrades as i would really help the whole feel. with a surround sound systerm this is by far the greatest t.v on the planet, makeing it feel like being in the cinema i gives watching ...

Advantages: Superb picture Disadvantages: Can seem big at first.
We had a very unlucky week where the washing machine and tumble dryer broke and the TV blew up. Unsurprisingly it was the TV breaking that made my husband panic and before i knew it, we were at the shops looking at new televisions. I soon realised that my husband saw it as a chance to get the monster of televisions-the 50 incher.
When we were looking in the shop, the Phillips 50 PFP 5532 D 12 looked big, but in a huge store it didnt seem massive. ... ...to grow into a huge monster. Suddenly, our lounge looked tiny. I started to wonder why i had bothered putting out decorative vases, clocks and flowers when all you saw when you walked into the room was the TV. It bothered me a lot the first few days- i found myself wondering if they sold wooden TV cabinets that large or if it would blend in more if mounted to the wall. Strangely though, by the time a week had passed, it really did start to blend ...
I brought this plazma tv from comet for £999.99 , I think this was a bargain for a massive tv like this. I would like to tell you more about this gorgeous tv. Its black in colour and it has shiny frame , one speaker in each side but because it black too it does not show. The tv is a wide screen and I know some wide screen tvs show the caracter in the films fat , so I made sure I ask the sales person if this tv shows the picture as it appears in the ... ...people look fat and its shows as it is. The tv is thin but its absoluteley heavy , make sure you have a hard concreat wall to hang it on other wise , you can also hang the wall mount to the wall and have the tv danglinng , so what ever happens you can have it on the wall , but make sure you investigate which wall mount you need first. The tv has 100 free view channels and they are great because it free, it also has two music channels , and many more.

...televsion I jumped at the Philips 42 PF 5421 despite the £720 pricetag as the first time I clapped eyes on it the price was an eye watering £1500. Oh how prices have fallen, I'm glad I waited. The Philips 42 PF 5421 has a 42" HD ready widescreen plasma display and comes as a complete unit, so far as it doesn't have a stand as such, but sits on a support strut. This is good for me as I have a DVD cabinet that the television slots onto very nicely ... ...Mt mate has just bought a 72" widescreen and in comparison to the Philips 42 PF 5421 it is the poor relative. Size might be important to some, but now I have the quality I'll be sticking with it. You can't go wrong with this baby, its the bees knees. ...

...in Ayrshire and sent to Philips only repair agent in the UK based in Manchester after many letters, phone calls (Philips charged @15p per min) to retailer,repairer and Philips I finally got it back 20th Dec 2006
They extended original warranty by 6 months just as well 2 fault on replacement unit 9th July 2007 was repaired and ready to be delivered back to me 24th July 2007 I have not yet accepted delivery yet even though they have now threatened ... ...the set back to me after the 20th Aug 2007 warranty ended 14th Aug 2007 You seriously don’t want to get involved with what I though was a reputable brand as I have done nothing but phone write email at my own personal cost and time and totally stressed out with the whole thing.
I wish I had never got involved in with Philips.
Really poor service and think they are doing you a favour when they finally get round to repairing your TV
