    Disadvantages Disadvantages Dries out if left in the open and lids on tubs take a long time to get off

    *~*Introduction*~* I have two young sons who are 6 and 7 but still love to mess with play doh, and because of this I recently purchased some new tubs for playtimes on cold days. *~*Price, packaging & availability* As Play doh was developed way back in 1956 it's pretty safe to say that it's a trusted and recognised brand that is just as popular with children today as it ever was, and availability wise can be found in all good toy stores as well as larger supermarkets on their toy aisles.     Advantages Advantages Great for creative minds, durable and value for money

    Our little lad has always been very creative and as soon as he was old enough we bought him plasticine and we used to sit for ages making various models together. He then moved onto salt dough modelling and we taught him how to model the dough, dry it out, fire it and paint and varnish it. He has actually made some pretty impressive stuff (but then I am biased as I am his dad).     Play-doh is a compound of dough made for particularly the younger generation aged 3 years and above. Back in 1956 at Washington it was only available in a 9.5 can in one colour and one size However as the years progressed more colours were invented as in 1964 the Play-doh compound became 'an international can of fun!'. It went on sale in England, France and Italy and was voted into the top 100 best commercials by Advertising Age. Why?
