Romeo and Juliet are from high born feuding families. At first Romeo is a bit of a fool who is in love with love. The meeting with Juliet changes him and the meeting unleases a chain of events mostly tragic: murder, banishment, forced marriage and suicide of the two young lovers .
"Star crossed lovers" they most certainly are, playthings of the malevolent gods.They are doomed from the start.
