I always have a roll of kitchen towel in the go in my house – for me it is a household essential! This is partly due to the fact that I have a three year old – as well as just needing something quick to wipe up everyday spills and mess.
Now Plenty kitchen towels aren't the cheapest around but I picked these up when they were on offer recently. Currently in Asda, it costs £1.50 for two rolls which I don't think is too bad – although is obviously more expensive than the store's own brands.
There are different versions of Plenty kitchen towel available but the ones I am currently using are plain white with a slight raised bobble design. I do prefer plain kitchen towel so this works well for me!
Jack of all trades
I have used these just today for several different jobs. Firstly I used these to wipe clean my kitchen worktops after spraying them with kitchen cleaner. They did a great job of lifting dirt and I was impressed that just two sheets let my wipe down all my surfaces without any wear or tear on the sheets themselves. I also used this after a pan of water boiled over on my hobs. Once they'd cooled, I used two sheets to soak up the water that had spilled – again I was really pleased with how well these mopped up the spills.
Finally I used these on my little girl's hands and face after a big bowl of spaghetti. I used this dry the first time which of course didn't work, but a few drops of water did the job as well as wet wipe would have.
Great multi-purpose wipes!
All in all I highly recommend these wipes and I find I use them for all sorts of jobs around the house. Although these are pricier than others, I think it is worth the extra money as they are really effective and don't seem to tear whatever I put them through! So on this occasion I would say these are worth the extra cash!
