Well it's a touchscrene for a start. It is amazingly easy to navigate, sporting a well-designed title menu. Furthermore, there isn't really an instalation process, it's pretty much just turn it on and off you go. 5/5 Look and Design It certainly looks cool. This actually turns heads when you're using it on a bus or train, and I've even had the odd brave person come over and ask what it is and what it does. 5/5 Range of Features Pretty good, it has: *More memory than you, or at least I, will ever use with 320GB storing up to 400 movies, 3.2 million photos, or 190,000 songs. Lacie Desktop Hard Disk 320 GB

Advantages: Does what it says on the tin.
Disadvantages: Disadvantages?!

During my final year of uni, this little gem turned out to be a Godsend. Doing a course which required a lot of camera work, I needed somewhere to store all the raw footage, which anyone who's ever worked with footage from a high quality video camera knows, takes up a hell of a lot of space. So I needed somewhere to keep it locked away safely to take around from uni computer to uni computer. My weapon of choice for an external hard drive was the Lacie Desktop Hard Disk 320 GB. Having brought it online for just under £50, that instantly stuck me as a bargain. Purchased approximately 18 months ago, that was a steal. Seagate barracuda SATA 320gb hard drive review

Advantages: Fast, Value for Money, Quiet, 5yr warranty
Disadvantages: none that i know

to transfer data between pc's without using a network, or for backup storage on many pc's. Also with external hard drives from seagate you only get a 1yr warranty, instead of 5yrs for internal drives like this one. The formatted usable size is 298gb, not 320gb, it is very quiet I do not notice it at all. It is lightning fast thanks to its 16mb cache which helps make windows and programs load up quicker. The downside with the low price I paid was that as it was OEM (original equipment manufacturer) hard drive, this means that it is for computer manufactures and the hard drive is the only item incuded, so there is no instruction manual, or the sata cable to connect your hard drive to the motherboard.
