Manufacturer's product description
PLUS pushes the design envelope, using a retractable lens and other uniquely innovative technology, to bring you the world's thinnest projector: a never-before possible 35 mm thin! The flat design slips smoothly into your bag. A built-in sliding lens cap protects the lens, and you'll never worry about losing it in transit. It's small and lightweight, but it's also bright: 1,000 lm bright. And with a contrast ratio of 2,000:1, it looks even brighter than the specs indicate. Contrast ratio influences the range of tonal gradation a projector can express.

I won't profess to understand all of the above because, quite frankly, I don't - however what made me choose this particular model was:
1. It fitted the lightweight category at only 4.2 lbs, 1.9 kg
2. It has a soft carrying case which suits my needs attending occasional public meetings and doing various in house presentations. If you are going to transport...

Advantages: Good value for money (decent specs at a strong price) and good after-sales support Disadvantages: Bad-looking, unreliable at times
...I guess it is safe to say the design will never win any awards. It looks chunky and the color combination (all silver inside and matt black on the outside) doesn't look very appealing.
The buttons on the touch-pad feel rubbery and offer a good touch, but it attracts dirt, is nearly impossible to clean.
Ditto for the silver finish too...starts to rub off after a few months and ends looking ancient.
The specs are decent and well worth the price - but my personal experience with all hp/compaq products (I've had 3 hp/compaq laptops to date) is that they all have a problem with the motherboard.
Not sure if this is a generic problem with all hp/compaq products...or maybe I'm just plain unlucky.
Of course, their after-sales support is quite good, but it doesn't feel nice taking a barely-three-months-old laptop for repair.
Better to spend...

Advantages: Quick, easy to use, and lots of features Disadvantages: None in comparison to my old one
...I have had my Samsung V25 for a couple of months now, and thought I would give you my verdict.
The acquisition of this product came about by accident. I had an IBM, which I loved. It had an external floppy drive though, and when my son decided to move it out of his way, he put the floppy drive on top of the keys, and tried to shut the lid. (Ouch!)
So, with a cracked screen, which the insurance company were unable to replace, they offered me a Samsung V25 in it’s place.
I cannot say that I am sorry. Although I loved my IBM, this really is the bee’s knees in comparison (after all, the IBM is pretty out of date at only 3 years old).
***About Samsung***
Samsung entered the UK market in 1984, and now turn over £300M per year. They are market leaders in computer monitors, fax machines, telephones, microwave ovens etc...
