Advantages: Lovely Songs Disadvantages: Only 8 tracks and 23 minutes long
A Distant Shore released back in 1982 was until a few weeks ago Tracey Thorn's only solo Album. In March 2007 she released her second solo Album "Out of the Woods." Tracey Thorn is however better known not as a solo Artist but as one half of the successful duo Everything But The Girl, with husband, Ben Watt.
This Album was recorded when Tracey was only 19 years old in the year before she met her future husband, Ben Watt. Prior to the recording of this Album, Tracey had been a member of a Punk Band called The Marine Girls who had released two successful Indie Albums. Tracey however decided that she wanted to experiment with more Acoustic sounds and as she headed off to Hull University it was just an Acoustic Guitar that accompanied her.

Advantages: Some Great Songs Disadvantages: A Couple Of Weaker Tracks
Tracey Thorn is probably best known as one half of the duet, Everything but the Girl, but here on this album, "Out of the Woods", we see her leaving hubby, Ben Watt temporary aside and embarking on a solo project. This recording is her first solo Album for two and a half decades following on from "A Distant Shore" released back in 1982, which is probably before many people reading this review were actually born.
This Album was released in the UK on the 5th March 2007, following hot on the heels of the release of its first single "Its All True" a couple of weeks earlier.
There are eleven tracks on this Album as below:
Here it comes again
A-Z
It's all true
Get around to it
Hands up to the ceiling
Easy
Falling off a log
Nowhere near
Grand Canyon
By Piccadilly Circus I sat down and wept
Raise the roof
The Album opens ...
Advantages: taste nice, don't burn in the microwave Disadvantages: unhealthy
I have been off a lot lately since it is the summer and I am not at university. So I do find since being a student I did get lazy but for going back in Autumn I have been trying to find different products that I could use for snacks or lunch in between classes. While at my local supermarket I came across the Maggi Hot Pockets which were microwavable which I do try to stay away from as it is unhealthy but they looked too good to resist and with a preparation time of only two and a half minutes it sounded like something I would benefit from.
The packaging is very eye catching with this product, I haven?t heard of Maggi before but I soon would. The cover has a very appetising photo of the hot pocket piping hot with steam arising from it and a very filling tasty flavour oozing out. The box is yellow, read and orange so all the warmest ...
