It took a lot of searching in libraries, my own shelves and on the internet before I finally found what I thought to be the perfect reading for me to give at my little brothers wedding.
I have since heard that a fellow Cioer read my op and had the same reading at her wedding this year.

A couple of people had mentioned to me that they'd like to see me write something in the Ciao Café, so after searching through all the topics up for discussion and not finding anything I felt particularly comfortable writing about, I decided to take the easy way out and post one of my poems. I've never showed any of my poetry to anyone before, so it feels rather strange putting it up here for all to see, but I'd love to hear what you think.
This is not a 'poem of misunderstanding' as such, but I couldn't find a poetry category where I felt it really fit, so I've placed it here as I think it suits it better than any of the other categories available. So, here goes??
