I got Ciao to put this category because there are loads of wonderful writers out there, and not enough poetry categories. Hope to see loads of poems soon..
Were I to chose a place to be A place that really suited me I'd chose to walk the path you walk To talk the words we always talk To hold your hand, to feel your smile to kiss you at the kissing stile. Yes, why should anything improve, When what we feel is human love. Your eyes, transparent to my own, Cloak nothing, you are not alone, Your arms are strong, your lips so kind, And if I stay you will not mind That even though the days go by We never have to question why. Just be there in this place and time, That merits such a simple rhyme, Close as two people can achieve, I know that I shall never leave, And in each thing I chose to do, Will always stay here, lost in you.
