Poems of Love

This is a poem that I wrote to my wonderful hubby after 2 years of being together. I know some people will think it is completely stupid and why the hell have I put it on here but I have a lot of health problems and just wanted to try and let him know how special he is to me and I want the whole world to know I love him and how happy he makes me feel.

Dear Lance

Here I am sitting thinking of you
Feeling so low and feeling so blue
I miss you so much, wishing you were here with me
By your side is where I would rather be
Holding you close and holding you tight
All through the day and all through the night
My heart feels so empty like a big black hole
I love you so much with all my heart, body and soul.

Out of all the people that I’ve ever met
You are the one I’ll never forget
Your love is so warm
Your love is so true
All the love I have
Is all for you
My heart opens with a key
Which you have got
And that will always be
If I should ever die
Before you do
I’ll go up to heaven
And wait there for you.
