Advantages I get my say
Disadvantages Some readers may be offended
You would need to read Jessica Farrels latest poem to understand this review, I mean not to offend but only to tell the story from another point of view
Why do you hit out at me, throw stones, call namesMy gran fled a bad relationship where she was beaten every day
raped by her own husband, there was only one escape
To flee the country and take her children with her
On entering the U.K she was treated like a criminal,
but they were kinder once they understood her reasons for leaving her home.
Wheather Black, White, Packistani or green fear is the same.
I am rushed to hospital in agony, i have a stomach ulcer
I point to my stomach to show where the pain is
The doctor thinks it's indegestion and sends me home.
I know that I will be frowned upon even when I do find work
I admit there are bad people who have abused the NHS and government of the U.K. Many of your own people have done the same but are they persecuted for claiming disability when they are clearly well? working cash in hand but claiming Housing benefit, Council Tax and Income Support?
Have you ever wanted to move to another country? What if you had to leave everything you knew and loved behind?
If the country you moved to offered your family a better way of life would you take it?
Or would you let your children starve.
Who am I?
