Poems of anger and rage

They all have a cause;
A point to make.
But don't give a toss,
'Bout the heartbreak they create.

Men and women like you and me,
That's what they'd say if asked who they are.
But what you'll find if you unlock the key,
Is creatures of barbarity, nature having no par.

They planted their bombs to go off in waves,
Knowing their victims could be of many.
Women, men, children or babes,
Of lesser value to them than a worn-out penny.

To them the politicians speak strong words,
and we shed our tears and vent our disgust.
But not until we treat them like turds.
Will the circle of terrorism ever be bust.

What is needed is action,
Swift, immediate and decisive.
To show them our reaction
And cut through them as a sieve.

They are the murderers without a face,
the cowards with a 'cause'
but failing to make their case,
Reason and morality becomes their loss. As time goes by the victims are all but forgotten.As time goes by anger and rage and horror subside.What will WE do todayTo ensure those victims have not died in vain? That their families do not grieve to no avail.What will we do today to eradicate the faceless, cowardly creatures that are the faceless murderers.
