This one was originally written in English for a change. I posted it in this section because for some reason, when I go to the Poetry section or Poetry Challenge, I only have the option to "Edit Review" and not "Write A Review". Does anyone know why? Can you only post one poem a month in each section? If you do, please enlighten me! I will try to post one more poem tonight, and then I shall go and read and give you (and myself) a break.
NIGHT OF EXPLOSIONS
If only the night would last long enough, To let me spit out all my poison; Undercover of darkness, My senses are fully alight.
If only time could freeze For five eternal seconds, To let me breathe in the peace That I cannot find.
Given the right conditions, We can all become monsters; Given the right conditions, A monster can turn into a king.
If only the night left seeds that I could plant, I would grow trees of flashing darkness, I would eat their fluorescent fruits of secrets, And enter forever the realm of serene madness.
If only the night was a garment, I would sew in onto my skin, And watch the twilight break into the dawn, Allowing me to finally live my dream.
Wonderful poetry and I agree with steerpyke and richada that it should be seen by a wider audience. Dave

agree with RICHADA, maybe you should think about puttiing your work on a poetry site, there are some genuine ones out there but look out for those scams that offer to publish your work, they just want your money. An excellant poem again. "if only the night were a garment" great line...Dave

This is far the best one I read, okay, it's directly written in English, so it works better than any translation, also if this is as good as it can be ... Anyway, You only can write one review in each section in here, also if You use the ciao-cafe and the alphabet in there, maybe everything starting with P (for Poetry) You've to take when posting there next time another letter, e.g. everything starting with M (for My poetry) or everything starting with S (Spanish poetry translated) :) ... Many regards, Sven (Zoobremia)
