I have always loved the pokemon games from the get go. From when they were those colourless and glitch field games (Pokemon Red and Blue). To the perfect beauty's we have today (Pokemon Diamond).
This game is a great improvement from the last 3 (Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby). Better graphics and even more fun things to do on it. It makes it even better that it is on the Nintendo DS so you can involve the touch screen too. Sometimes I purposely turn on the system just to play around with the spinning icons.
Another great improvement that I think they have made is the making of the Poke blocks. I believe the layout and all around use of making these terrible things has become easier.
There are still some of the original things we can not get rid of like the Mart and Poke center layout.
Some of the great things on the new game: It gives you updates every visit on what you have done so far in the game. The time changes (you get day and night) You can also get information about the different towns you visit.

Advantages: Its fun and highly addictive. Also its equipped with the amazing pokemon soundtrack Disadvantages: Some parts of the game are harder than the previous pokemon games.
