Back in the day, when Pokemon Red and Blue came out, I had the Red and my best friend, the Blue. I remember it all now, phoning her up to tell her i'd caught a certain rare pokemon and i'll trade it her later for her 'dex but she must give it back! So serious back then :-P So now, 10 years later, I got wind that they had 'remade' them for the GBA. What a nice suprise to act like an 11 year old again and rush off and buy it, I even roped a friend into getting the opposing game!
It felt good to be back in Pallet town, I could be a girl this time and my eyes weren't straining on the screen anymore, my SP made short work of the graphics. Yet there are extras still! Different moves for the Pokemon to learn, they can hold an array of items, and there are islands to explore!
It was nice, reliving my experiences from back then, but the extras also kept it fresh. I don't know why I'm talking in past-tense, I'm still playing!
