I have played all the previous pokemon games and I have enjoyed playing them all. However, when diamond, pearl and platinum were released it did feel like they were starting to run out of different ideas so I must admit I wasn't too excited when Pokemon white came out. But I thought I would play it and hope it was different in some way at least and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised as to some of the changes they made but is still what you would expect from a pokemon game, which in my opinion is an important thing to do.As the game starts in the same way as all the other pokemon games but goes down a new and interesting path which means it can be enjoyed by prior and new pokemon fans. Some of the changes they have made are that there are another 150+ new pokemon and just as you think you have finished catching them all the pokemon from older generations turn up! The graphics have improved dramatically and can even be seen to be 3D at times which adds an interesting dimension to the game. I would definitely say it is worth every penny just for the new and interesting changes alone which add a refreshing dimension to the original ideas that are continually present in each pokemon game. I would recommend this to anyone, I enjoyed it immensely!
