Ok the size was an issue and replacement films cost like £5 but the overall concept was straightfoward and fun.
For each roll of film, you only get 10 pictures and each one that ... ...great by today's standards but it was certainly a good bit of fun at the time.
Portability was certainly an issue as this is heavy and can't be easily stored or carried around-especially since it is an awkward shape and bulky.
In terms of features, there were virtually none. To take a photo, you simply opened it up and then point and take the picture. After that the photo pops out and you wait for about 5 minutes until ... more

For each roll of film, you only get 10 pictures and each one that is developed is quite small and the quality isn't exactly great by today's standards but it was certainly a good bit of fun at the time.

In terms of features, there were virtually none. To take a photo, you simply opened it up and then point and take the picture. After that the photo pops out and you wait for about 5 minutes until the picture becomes clearer.
Overall this was a good idea in the past but noone really uses these now due to the size, weights, cost and the size and quality of the photos

...than 2 feet (like all polaroid cameras). The lens of the camera also makes objects closer to the camera larger in proportion to objects farther from the cameraon the prints but it's not incredibly noticable. Overall, I enjoy it very much and would happily recommend it for anyone. It does take decent quality fun photos. ...

Advantages: the photos are of a good size and quailty and are instant! Disadvantages: you cant take very close up photos, and you do look kind of silly holding it!
i think that polaroid cameras are really fun to use, okay, they may be huge and you may look slightly strange pulling it out of you bag to snap a pic, but its so much fun taking them that you just dont care.
-hey they aren't big they are just retro!!-
i recently took my polaroid camera with me on holiday with all my friends and we had such a fun time taking photos as you can use the camera almost any where! Its really great at partys aswel because ... ...ideal especially abroud as you dont need to wait weeks for the developing and you get the photos instantly to share!

When I decided to buy a polaroid camera I found that wasnt a huge ammount of choice and that really the only option i had was to buy the Polaroid one 600. I was hesitant as it was quite expensive but i am pleased with my purchase.
The camera is large and this often proves difficult when taking photos or when carrying it in your bag as you cant just slip it in your pocket or hang it from your wrist. However the quality of the photos is good. They always come out clear and the flash is fantastic on this camera. The only annoying thing about the photos is that theyre often slighty smudged at the bottom of the photo from where the polaroid is ejected from the camera. Yet this is confined to the bottom of the photo and doesnt interefere with the image too much.
Once youve read the instructions its easy to load the film and remove empty ...
Advantages: Fun, quirky and instant results. Disadvantages: Expensive film pack refills, limited functionality.
I purchased a Polaroid One Classic 600 last summer as a novel touch to our wedding guest book. Our Best Man circulated the room during coffee after the wedding breakfast meal, snapping guests with the Polaroid and then sticking the images on separate pages of our guest book for people to write their messages alongside. The results were hilarious and still have us in stitches when we look back through the pictures and comments.
The camera was easy to use; a simple point and shoot method, and the inclusion of a flash added contrast and brightness, bringing out the colours reasonably sharply. It has a surprisingly sleek appearance in its two-tone blue and silver for what we would traditionally associate with the old-fashioned, clunky polaroids, and people genuinely enjoy having the picture taken, waiting with anticipation ...

Advantages: a compact camera with all the necessary features Disadvantages: there seems to be a nack to pulling out the pictures
my boyfriend has just brought me a polaroid izone, as it is so much smaller than my polaroid600, so a little more handy and less embarrasing to carry around!
i have just finished my first 12 pictures that came with the camera, im i think i need to go on a course to learn how to pull out the pictures without causing finger print marks on them.
It is very simple to use the camera, just select the right setting for the environment you are in, indoors, outside in bright weather, and a setting for cloudy weather but i tend not to use this setting as it is abit in between! The button you use to select the apropriate setting is the same you use to take the photo, so it isn't full of lots of strange buttons!
I like the fact the the camera is simple to use and isnt flooded with alot of functions you never really use. I has everything ...
