To start with, I bought this camera off eBay, not expecting excellent quality, as it only cost me a little over £30 and came with a case, software and a 128mb memory card!
But when I got some batteries in it, turned it on and took a photo I was pleasantly surprised, the picture quality was very good indeed! Then I realised it wasn't even on full, as you can change the resolution of the picture and the quality, by pressing the little 'star' button, to raise it to 2 star images! WIth it on ful you don't get many pictures, but those you do get are excellent!
It is also exceptionally easy to use, I didn't even bother to read the instructions, even though they are very good and detailed, i just turned it on and played with all the features, like different colour effects and video recording! That leads me onto another good thing about it, it has a surprising amount of features for such a small and cheap camera (only 80x74x35mm), with different image sizes and qualities, video sizes and qualities, self timers, date stamps and time stamps.
It is also very durable, having been dropped a fair few times, and very reliable, I haven't had any technical problems with it....not one!
However, on top of the very good picture quality, features, durability, reliability and general value for money, there are some bad points!
For example, the flash isn't bad, unless it is just a bit too dark or just a bit too light, it has to be just right or everything goes completely white! It also is very slow to turn on with a memory card in, I don't know why it makes a difference, but if you are the type of person who suddenly gets the urge to take a photo quickly, this isn't the camera for you!
Also, i don't know whether you will think this is good or bad, but it weighs quite a bit for such a small thing, to me this is good because it shows it is of quite good quality, but it may not be the kind of thing you look for!
Overall, for the price, this is a very good little camera and I would definately recommend it to someone who just wants a small camera to have with them just in case they want a picture of something, it is also good enough quality to take to weddings and other special occasions.
Advantages: cheap, small, good photos for web Disadvantages: battery life, hard to use,
...IMHO, it better to spend more money for something better & ignore this camera, look for a camera with a rechargeable battery pack.
As much better cameras are much cheaper now, I can not see any reason to get this, unless you like something with the Polaroid name. ...

...to Argos to purchase the Polaroid PDC2070. Very nice indeed, 120 pounds which included a leather wallet, picture software, USB leads and a 64mb memory card.
Now being a typical women I couldnt get the camera out of the box quick enough to have a play with my new toy taking pictures of the dog, my husband, the house etc etc. But then I realised I could zoom in 3 times and so the pictures became more detailed (I wont tell you what I was focusing on ... ...showing all the family the LCD display and explaing how the picture could be lightened/darkened/resolution improved/videocam facility/editing facility etc etc.
However, a few weeks later we went on holiday and befriended a group of people. One of the gents there got his camera out which could do a great deal more than mine and also looked much prettier (probably cost a great deal more also). I was a bit embarrassed with my measly camera and suddenly ...

Advantages: easy to use Disadvantages: no optical zoom, small lcd screen no features
The PDC series cameras are good on the wallet and good for children but thats about the extent of it, this camera in particular though really is the bottom of the PDC food chain.
You get a camera with a tiny lcd screen, which is something most people try to steer clear of in the first place, the PDC sub standard lens and really after that nothing else.
You have no optical zoom but you do get the added bonus of a picture degrading digital zoom. ... ...is good, and the camera due to absolutely no features is exceptionally easy to use. The store I worked at sold these cameras for 60 dollars, they were 29 dollars at cost, I bought a few for my grandmothers and my niece and nephew but I would not try and sell it to anyone unless it was for an elderly person just trying to learn digital or a kid that was going to be rough on it anywas.
I know this review doesn't have much information in it but there ...
