Overall this Polaroid camera is very simple to use. For what I need it for it works wonderfully. It has taken some really good pictures and is going strong. The pictures don't look as good on the little LCD display as they do when they are put on the computer but once printed you can really seen a good quality in the photo.

I admit I am really rubbish with all this technology that's out at the moment. It seems you just get used to one thing and a newer better improved model is brought out! But everything is always so complicated with loads of buttons and different ways to use. This is not the case with my new digital camera.
I don't really know what specification or performance is good or what's not good with digital things or computers. So I probably wont be giving you much technician information but here is what I know.
Price and Specifications. ------------------------------
This particular camera I purchased from Argos and there was £10 off this product on the day I went so I managed to get it for £79.99. It states in the book that it does not come with a memory card. I wasn't too sure how many pictures it could store internally as 32MB means nothing to me! So I purchased a separate memory card which cost me £24.99. The details that are listed on the side of the box are as follows:
5.3 Mega pixel CCD 2592 x 1956 pixel resolution 4X Digital zoom 32MB internal flash memory (16MB SD RAM) 1.5" colour TFT-LCD display USB Cable JPEG compression SD memory card compatible Off, Auto, Red-Eye reduction and Fill Flash. Auto or Manual exposure Movie clip with sound
Everything that is contained in the package is listed below:
PDC 5055 Digital Camera CD-Rom Software 2AA Batteries USB Cable Pouch/Case Camera Strap
Look ---------
On getting the camera out of the box I was pleased to see batteries were included as it seems everything else I buy that needs batteries you have to buy them separately! The camera itself looks pretty cheap, with big shiny buttons that give it somewhat of a fake look. For a split moment I thought they had given me the dummy model!
It appears to be a pretty basic camera with easy to use functions. The front of the camera is very flat and the zoom does not come out from the camera at all. It is not overly heavy and the only thing that looks bad is the part that holds the USB hole as the cover to this, which is made of rubber, seems to fall off the camera and not click in place very well.
Usage ---------
The whole thing is very simple to use. The on button is situated on top along with the picture button. The zoom function is simple with one button pressed at either end to zoom in or out.
The flash has different settings such as auto flash, red eye or fill flash. The flash is pretty powerful and swallows up loads of battery life! Some pictures I have taken are a little too bright and this cant be changed at all (expect by backing of a little bit).
The camera holds around 26 pictures with out the use of the extra memory card and this can be used in conjunction with the added memory.
It is simple to look back on pictures you have taken by pushing one button and then flicking through by pushing the directional button.
I could sit here and explain everything in tiny detail but everything is so simple to use that anyone could use it without trouble.
The CD ROM that it comes with has a few editing options that I haven't really got my head around. They don't seem that useful so I just stick with putting my memory card into my PC and downloading them that way. But it is simple enough to get your photos from the camera onto the computer.

For the price I feel it is, in truth, a great little camera. It may look a little cheap and feel a little clumsy but the pictures look good and all the functions are easy to use.
The only small problem is the fact I had to buy a separate memory card but that seems to be the case with most cameras.
I would recommend this camera to all new digital camera users as it is a great beginners camera. 8/10 for Polaroid digital Camera.
Advantages: Extremely easy to use & really good value for money. Disadvantages: None so far!!
Now, I am a digital camera virgin, so please forgive my simple terms, but they may be of benefit to other new digital users! I have just got this camera about four hours ago, so this review may be added to quite a bit over time. It cost me £89.99, from Argos. Features: 5.3 Mega Pixel
1.5" colour TFT-LCD display
32MB Internal Flash Memory
4X Digital Zoom
SD Memory-Card Compatible
Auto-Flash with Red-Eye Reduction
As I mentioned, I have never ... ...only 22, and I have a City & Guilds in Computing and Desk Top Publishing, but have you seen some of these cameras, with like, 85 buttons, and 5 different menu screens!
This camera is a pleasure to use, and oh so easy, and it only has 11 buttons!
Included in the box:
PDC 5055 Digital Camera CD-Rom Software
2AA Batteries
USB Cable
Pouch/Case
Camera Strap (small, to fit over wrist)
Note: No SD Memory card, it is compatible, but this is to be ...

Advantages: SD card compatable, video clips, cheap, Disadvantages: fuzzy LCD screen, not a very good lens
...though I began to wish polaroid had not ventured into the digital world.
This camera has a 5.3 megapixel rating which most people would think was great, but the megapixels are overshadowed by the fact that the lens is not as good as other cameras available. Thus the pictures that are created are not all that crisp and not all that good. The LCD screen that shows you the pictures is not clear and makes the camera seem like it takes even worse pictures ... ...2 AA batteries and saves data onto an SD cards. It does not come with an SD card but comes with double the standard internal memory leaving you 32Mb's to use before a card is needed. It can take video clips but they run at low FPS and look a bit choppy.
In conclusion if this camera was bought for a child or was someones first time camera it would be a good buy thus my satisfactory rating but for people that use digitals quite often and are looking ...

i brought this camera around 3 months ago and it is prettygood. It cost me about £90 from argos and i had to get a memory card which was on special offer for £10 and this was on special offer.
there is a little display which shows fairly clear images but these pictures look a lot better when downloaded and printed out from the computer.
there is not many special features but just enough to make you able to use it well.
it is my mfirst digital ... ...of digital photography well.
it looks quite big and bulky alongside other friends cameras but it does the job i need and takes fairly good pictures.
