Thank you very much for all the reads and rates and comments and things! :) Also started to write on Dooyoo under the name of 'Beanie85'. Trying to write different reviews for each site, though I might have a couple on both sites!

I saw this one of these Pogo’s on the internet a little while ago and really, really wanted one. When I was browsing Firebox.com recently I saw that they were selling them half price, so I snapped one up!
The Pogo is a basically a mini photo printer from Polaroid, you can connect it to your laptop, camera or mobile phone and print photos out. It is available in two colours, black or pink (I got the pink one of course!) and measures 12cm x 6cm. I love the design of the Pogo, it is very simple and basically just looks like a small, solid, rectangular box. It has 'Polaroid' written across the top in silver letters next to a thick silver strip.
The Pogo is very simple to use, and the first thing you need to do is charge it up before the first use. In the box there are two charger cables which connect up to a normal household socket, the great thing is that it comes with both a UK plug and a European plug meaning that if you go on holiday you won’t have to take a adapter plug with you. The Pogo takes around 4 – 5 hours to charge and you can tell when the Pogo is charged as a light on
Pogo turns from orange to green.
There are only two socket holes on the Pogo, one for the charger and a USB port, meaning that there is no worries about sticking wrong things in the wrong holes! To turn the Pogo on there is a power button on the side, you have to hold this down for a few seconds and then the battery light will turn on to green indicating it is on. This battery light turns to orange when it is low on battery, so you know when you will have to charge it up again soon. The battery lasts long enough to print out around 15 pictures, so if you go on holiday with it you will have to remember to bring the mains charger with you.
When you buy the Pogo, you also receive a 10-pack of photo paper alongside it. The photo paper is ‘Zink’ photo paper, which means ‘zero-ink’, so you do not need to put any ink cartridges in the little printer, it does it all itself! To insert the paper into the printer you have to do is push a little grey button on the printer and the top of it lifts off and you just pop the paper in face down. Each piece of printer paper measures 5cm x 7.6cm, so quite small compared to the size of the printer. The fun thing about the printer paper is that it is sticky backed, so it also doubles up as not only a picture, but a sticker too!
There are two ways to connect to the printer, one is by a USB cable, and the other is by Bluetooth. I have used both ways and find both to be very straightforward. With the USB method, you simply connect your USB cable to either your camera or computer and send whichever picture you choose to the printer. There is no USB cable included with the Pogo so you have to either use an existing one or buy one separately. The printer then takes around one minute to print out the picture. To print via Bluetooth you have to search for Bluetooth devices close by from your mobile phone, and then choose the pogo from the list that comes up, you have to enter a password to connect to the Pogo which is the same for all Pogos; 6000. You can then go to your pictures folder and send whichever pictures you want to the pogo to print out. I find the pictures to be good quality with sharp colours though the pictures are small so don’t expect to see all the little details in each one.
You can buy refill paper for the Pogo, and it pays to shop around for the best deal as prices vary a great deal. The refill papers come in packs of 30 or 70. I recently bought a 70 pack on Amazon for a little under £15 which works out at about 20p per photo, so you have to choose carefully which pictures you want to print out as is can get expensive!
The first time I tried to use the Pogo was with my sisters camera, and you have to watch out as the Pogo is not compatible with all cameras, it wasn’t with my sisters one so it is best to check out the compatibility to your devices before you buy it. Thankfully it works with my camera, mobile phone and laptop (phew!)
The Pogo has a metal casing round it, and although seems quite sturdy I'm not sure how much rough wear and tear it would be able to stand so I try not to knock or drop mine! You can buy cases to keep them extra safe, which look a bit like camera cases, though these will set you back around £15 online.
I really like the idea of the Pogo, though it is definitely (for me) one of those things I really wanted as opposed to something I needed. I really like printing off pictures on my Pogo to stick in cards or notes to my friends, and I also have a lot of them sticking on my wall (though I do this with bluetack!). The pictures are good quality, and the printer is really easy to use. I do find that it is on the pricey side, I paid £49.95 for mine, though I do think they will come down in price quite a lot in the not too distant future.

Advantages: portable, good print quality, works well with most modern phones/cameras Disadvantages: Zink paper hard to find on High Street, sticky-backed paper has poor adhesion on some surfaces

Review of Polaroid PoGo
Advantages: Small and portable, fun (but the novelty soon wears off), cheap to buy, needs no ink Disadvantages: Paper is very expensive, picture quality not up to standard, it's no more than a gadget
