Advantages: Stunning looks, stunning looks, stunning looks & superb sound Disadvantages: Difficult to find, some manufacture flaws, small base without the feet
I found out about these speakers after they stopped making them and had only ever heard rumours or seen pictures of the silver versions. I was thinking about the replacement XT8's but you cannot see the lovely aluminium from the front of the new ones and they are £1,200 more. The silver versions are amongst the best speakers I have ever experienced. The clean retro lines and curves, the bold yellow paper-kevlar mid cone and unlike many others they are quite discrete yet powerful, these are some of the most beautiful speakers I have ever seen. The foot print and look were some of the most important factors in my decision to purchase followed by the quality and reputation B&W manage to maintain. Without the metal feet the base seems smaller and could be knocked over, watch out for parties. Although slim there are 2 bass cones which ...

Advantages: Low Price, High Performance, High overlock capability Disadvantages: None
One month ago I decided to bought this AMD Black Edition AMD Phenom IIX4 940 processor to upgrade my old one. I choose it because I need more powerful performance to operate my favorite games and some design graphics activity which need high end peripherals requirement to run smooth.
I combined this processor with my existing peripheral such TA790GX motherboard, 8Gb Ram and 512Mb DDR3 GeForce 9600GT PCI-X Graphic card. Since the first time I booting up using this Phenom IIX4 940, I found my computer run absolutely faster when loading my Windows, more than 2 times using my old processor.
When I try to run my favorite games PES2009 and NFS Carbon, I can run both games so smooth at highest detail setting. I have also overlock it up to 3,4Ghz and run for a day and I found still stable performance and just a little heat, but I think it is ...
-10 on difficulty I would say a 4 mainly because it didn't say how to install a PCI card even though I know how to- others may not.
The maximum monitor resolution output for this card in 2D is 2560x1600 this is well over High definition so take that console users! He-he
The maximum 3D output is 1.07 billion colours at 2560x1650 (taken form rear of box)
It can run two monitors and can have TV output so if you have a nice huge TV then why not!
There is some pretty nerdy stuff on the back of the box here so I won't list it- example being "Up to 128-bit floating etc" now I understand LOL. But to save your minds I won't put up. You can find out that stuff form the product website on www.ati.com or ati.amd.com since they have been bought by AMD. - Great that because now if you own an AMD processor, some of the newer Processors and graphics cards will ...
