Ten years later the same technology is available to many at a more reasonable price. Naturally, many photographers have opted to use desktop film scanners to produce a lot of their work or produce a reliable digital image file which is easily archived.
Fortunately, I found myself in a position to buy a new scanner earlier this year and after some consideration I bought a PolaroidSprintScan 4000.
After producing a few hundred scans with this equipment I have come to know the scanner's strengths (many) and weaknesses (few).

Advantages: Small, Light, Good battery life and overall performance, High Spec Disadvantages: Lags occasionally, Superceded by newer model
...buttons look metallic but my left button seems to have worn down a bit and isn't as shiny in the area where I click most, which isn't great but it's a minor niggle as the button still works.

VERDICT
I think the Q35 is a great ultra mobile laptop. It set me back just over £1,000.36 including delivery but there are cheaper versions. I would have gone for the Q45 had it been out at the time but I can definitely recommend Samsung's range of ultra mobile laptops...

Excellent portable dvd player, after having had the Philips 8" player which had specs that would play divx, mp3, and pretty much anything you could throw at it, it developed a hinge fault. I had to replace it and according to the specs for other players, more
