Contrary to the other review here, I found this TV to be so damn awful, I had to return it.
In its favour, the screen and picture quality is fine - not great, but totally acceptable. The sound however is atrocious - its so thin and tinny, you may as well be listening to AM radio through a tin can. You have the option to run your audio through your hifi or other external speakers, but thats really not the point is it?
If you live life at a very leisurely pace, and dont mind waiting around 2 seconds for it to actually change channel when you press the button, you'll love his tv. Around 2 seconds to get a picture on the new channel, and another second for it to bring up the "Now & Next" box at the bottom of the screen. Slow and clunky is the order of the day.
Anybody who is familiar with freeview (which should be most people these days), will be aware that one of the benefits is that you can continue watching one channel, whilst browsing the program listings for other channels so you dont have to flick up, channel by channel to see whats on. This TV doesnt have that BASIC feature - if you want to know whats on other channels, the only way to find out is to actually flick from between them. Its VERY slow and anoying.

Yet another drawback is that whenever you turn the TV off for a few hours, then turn it back on, it has crashed. The only way to be able to start watching tv again is to rescan for the channels. It hasnt forgotten the channels, it just refuses to give you any picture or sound until youve wasted 5 minutes rescanning. Brilliant stuff!!

Advantages: Ease of use, top quality features, great picture quality. Disadvantages: Sound is slightly less than perfect. Speakers could do with being beefed up!
I purchased this tv for my bedroom about two months ago and have found it to be reliable, excellent quality and great value for money. The TV was really easy to set up, the picture quality whether using a digital or analogue signal is excellent and the range of features is absolutely brilliant for a TV of this price. I have used this TV in conjunction with a DVD player, my games console and had my laptop linked to it and I have had absolutely no ... ...in the boot of my car to my girlfriends house so I have to say that for reliability and durability it has been great. The only gripe I do have is that the sound quality and clarity could be slightly better but for the price you pay for the TV I cannot really have any complaints! ...

...this little beauty.
The Polaroid TLU-01941 was purchased from Currys Digital after the salesman had gone through the patter of what each product did and how much it cost, he was very patient as I did ask a lot of questions and looked at all his screens in this sixe This was not the cheapest Flatscreen at £279 but it has loads of features which I have listed below, we mainly needed a decent size screen (19Inch) for the bedroom, a high sound output ... ...our DVD player.
I got the TV home and unpacked it and after reading the manual (Very comprehensive) connected it to the mains, aerial and a wall bracket I had also purchased and fitted. I turned the screen on and powered up. The TV jumped into action straight away and automatically tuned itself in to Both Analogue and Digital Channels and allthough we dont have a digital arial the reception and picture quality was excellent and compared easily to ...
