Like the other polaroid cameras this camera runs on SD cards and can ... ...it's pros. It has 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom and it does give you a warning as you begin to use the digital zoom that digital zoom degrades the picture quality, but with only 3x optical you don't have much choice if you want a close up style shot seeing as this camera has a horrible macro function.

Like the other polaroid cameras this camera runs on SD cards and can make movie clips but really thats about the end of it's pros. It has 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom and it does give you a warning as you begin to use the digital zoom that digital zoom degrades the picture quality, but with only 3x optical you don't have much choice if you want a close up style shot seeing as this camera has a horrible macro function.
Something I am disdainful of is the lack of a conventional view finder. Some people like the bigger LCD screen and find it great but for people that know how LCD works and take pictures outdoors in the sun where you cannot see the LCD you will miss the conventional view finder. Also you cannot save battery power by turning the screen off as then you have no idea what your camera is looking at.
This camera's price makes you want to believe it is an ok camera, but it is one of the cameras that I didn't even buy at cost as it was still to rich for my blood for what it gave you.

This camera was wonderful at first. I loved the huge screen and it seemed to take pretty good pictures. Then I learned how quickly it ate through batteries. Only 8 months after buying it, it just stopped working. I have sent it back and haven't heard a word back. I am not camera shopping and will be looking for a new brand. ...
