Advantages light weight
Disadvantages Not enough tools
I bought the Polti VaporettinoHandheld Steam Cleaner really just to see if steam cleaning really works before buying a bigger steamer, this steamer does work, it is really fun to use, and easy to store. It does a great job on the smaller items like cleaning the bath room, around the bath edges, where the tiles start, sink and taps the toilet, it does its job and has a great blast of steam plus, you dont have to wait for cooling down before re- filling with water. To clean the grout in between the tiles you need to use the small little brushes, you just attach it to the end of the steamer by twistiing it in position if you need to give the grout a little extre cleaning. You can also use it without any brushes and just blast the steam where you want it, the dirt just runs down and you wipe it of with the cloth. It also has a good length cable You can buy extre attachments for it or replacement attachments. Instruction are in the leaflet and phone number to get the attachments, A disadvantage is, if you want the long thin nozzle you do have to buy this seperate and it is this tool that in my opinion you really need to get round the corners, and under the toilet brim. and into those very hard narrow gaps that you just cant get into. I bought my extre attachments and brushes from ebay for £10 selling at the moment which came in a sealed package for £5.99. by seller id dinglydell. The same package I bought but from a differant seller.I did phone the number on the leaflet to enquire about the attachments and the package I got from ebay did have the same amount of attachments In the package. they were also 10.00 cheaper on ebay. You do need the extre brushes.and in differant colours so you can identify which brush is for which room, we would'nt like to forget which brush is which and which brush did we clean the micro wave with and which we have just cleaned our toilet with:)
features are:
Removable water tank, this is very easy to fill, you just untwist the cap and put it under the tap and fill to the line, removing and putting back on is very easy, it just has a switch that you slide to one side to open and push it back to lock the tank back on.
Heats up in under 3 minutes
Complete with two round brushes and a fabric tool
Handy hook for storage
Cable wind around the pistol grip
1000 watts.
The fabric tool which you get with it is great for freshening your clothes, and getting creases out, if you keep them on the hanger and hold the bottom of the garment you just need to start at the top with the steamer and work your way down, stubborn creases might need an extre going over., same if you want to do your curtains. To get the steam out you have to press the trigger a few times, the more you press the trigger the more steam comes out. It cleans mirrors, you just need to blast them with the steam and wipe it over with the cloth, but dont over steam it , it will end up to wet. You do get used to to it very quickly and get the hang of how many times to press the trigger to how much steam you want to come out.

There is a number you can ring to get extre parts for the vaporetto, this number you et when you purchase the Vaporreto. I have rung them myself so to my knowledge parts are not difficult to get but, I was saying that parts can be obtained from some ebay sellers at a lesser price saving you money. As for spacing my review out yes sorry about that it was a little late when I wrote it. Having the differant colored bruches helps to identify which brush was used for which job, as in the health and saftey green for kitchen red for the bathroon and black for around the house, the steam does get very hot but, I still like to keep the differant colour brushes for each individual room and being able to identify the burshes the steam does kill bacteria if it didnt I wouldnt of entertained it
