    Advantages Advantages Excellent for cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Only partly effective in cleaning carpets.

    I was advised prior to purchase that Polties are good across the whole range, and funtionally there is little difference between machines at the top and bottom of the range. In these circumstances, I bought the 1500 for £270. Prior to this I had owned a Goblin which was dreadful. It was nearly always broken, even after extensive repair. I was similarly unhappy with the Prisma Ladyhouse which was seriously broken on arrival. The second machine leaked badly and I had to return it to the supplier. There is a lot of rubbish out there.
