I have suffered from excema all my life. Recently it quite a lot more than usual and even started to appear on my face, especially eyelids. The irritation on my eyelids also caused me to suffer inflammation after wearing make up. Apparantly the facial eczema was caused by yeast in dandruff falling onto my face and flaring up. It was recommended by my doctor that I start to use polytar to clear up the dandruff. I used polytar every other wash (2-3 times a week). My dandruff cleared up after about a week, although the first time I used it i did think that it was getting a lot worse! Soon after the dandruff went the facial eczema also went and I can now wear make up!
