Advantages: fast, great graphics, smooth, works with every game
Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE

..., but at 11M poly's, im not paying 600$ for that....go d/l DMZG at www.wxp3d.com and watch your v5-6000 suck ass.... I will wait till October when the rest of the competition release their cards like Matrox. Advantages: Very very fast.
Disadvantages: Has a tendency to over heat with a lot of use. Doesn't hadle huge textures. Constantly drops pixels and the render quality just isn't there. The picture is fuzzy and the card just is too slow with mipmaps turned off.

...I am a CG Artist and I decided to upgrade to this card when all my freinds raved on about how good it is. I'm used to industrial graphics cards and they said it knocks the socks of the render quality and speed. So I wen't out and bought it after reading the reviews. There are many things I'm happy about and there are many more things I'm not with. The first major difference was the render quality. Changeing to this £200 Nvidia back stepped completely from my 3D Labs VX1. It had badly drawn poly's and textureing was no where near as sharp or as well drawn. The 3D Labs cost less for the reason it has no Geomatry acceleration. When running games like Quake for frames per second the Geforce has a real punch for your money but the quality just isn't there.
