Beware if you are looking to buy this as the price really can vary from shop to shop. I think the dearest I saw was £39.99 (BIG DIFFERENCE) NOTE - This is only the pump and not the bowl (if you want to have a bird bath), but is all you need for a pond. ...tell you what I did as a warning:- After setting it up I decided to go back into the house to sit and listen to my handywork. After a "nice cup of tea" I went back out into the conservatory to see how it was doing and to my horror there was water everywhere and the pump was making a terrible grating noise. As my pump was getting old and was really too small for the pond, I decided to buy a new one. Having already installed a Fish Mate UV+Bio Filter a year ago, which I have been very pleased with, I opted to purchase a pump of the same type. I chose the 4000 which has a maximum flow of 835 gallons an hour, has an anti-clog filter design, has superior wear resistance and reported to have low running costs.
