i purchased a lotus pond pump 1800 in august last year.the impeller is now broken and no spares available at my local garden centre or lotus pumps themselves.because i do not have a reciept no replacement is available to me.on ringing lotus to purchase replacment part i was told they dont know when stocks would be available and they make the pump what chance have i got.the lady on the phone was very appoligetic but i am not able to tell my fish this ...

As my pump was getting old and was really too small for the pond, I decided to buy a new one. Having already installed a Fish Mate UV+Bio Filter a year ago, which I have been very pleased with, I opted to purchase a pump of the same type. I have owned an Oase (pronounced oh-ah-sir) aquamax 10,000 for 3yrs, and it has been in use everyday, for twenty-four hours a day, without any kind of malfunction. Which is exactly what I require from a pump that is working a gravity fed filter for a pond full of koi carp.
