Ponds Moisturising Cold Cream I bought this cream when I was holiday in India a few weeks back. At first, I only bought the miniature 30ml pot to use while I was there. However, after a few days I realised that it was an excellent product, so I decided to buy a larger 60ml pot to bring back home! The cream is manufactured by Ponds Institute in India. Well I gather there just has to be a first for everything and I trust that I am the first male species to write an opinion on a Ponds product typically for the female generation. Before I start this opinion please let me try and explain my reasons behind this. My wife insisted that I write this opinion on her behalf. It seems as I get older, my skin goes through phases where it doesn't know what it wants to be. In Summer, it becomes almost greasy, and in Winter loses moisture so quickly that it becomes almost a paper like transparent. The laughter lines (I hate the term "crow's feet") seem to be more pronounced, and even my husband, only 37, finds his skin dries out in the elements. I have very dry skin (due to having to eat a restricted fat diet) and soap & water leaves my face like sandpaper. I've been using cold cream as a cleanser (and moisturiser) for years, it really gets the dirt off (cotton wool pads become darkish beige) and stops my skin from being dry. It's also excellent as a moisturiser on dry elbows & Knees. Although it feels a bit oily at first, it soon soaks in. The other thing I like is the mild fragrance. Great stuff!
