#these nappies remind me of a material disposable, i have been using reusable nappies for a while now, and i have tried several types. I soptted these aabout 3 weeks ago and ordered then to add to my collection to try.
I have to admit they are very simple to use, they have a strong hook fastner and stay up well.
They are slightly elasticated around the leg for a secure fit for when baby is moving about. I do find however i need to change the nappy more often than most reusables, and the downside to these is that to ensure good absorbancy, you need a thick booster pad which can make the nappy a little bulky.
Washing the nappies is simple, i was all of mine on a 40 degree wash and they come out clean.
When washing these i also make sure i use biological washing liquid/ powder as this gives the best results. i also NEVER use fabric conditioner as this can coat the nappy, and over time they also become less absorbant.
If there is a stain on one of my nappies that i cant seen to get out, i hang them outside for 12 hours on the sunlght, as this bleaches the nappy and removes the stain.
overall this is a great little system, and they are failry good value for money of you were looking at getting a small pack to try.not only will you be saving our environment as less nappies will be going into our landfill, but your baby will be happy too, due to them having no chemicals, your baby will be less likely to get nappy rash.
happy baby changing everyone :)
