The Boxter is one of Porsche's greatest achievements.
The Boxsterengine has a cubic capacity of 2.7 litres, developing 162 kW at 6,000 rpm. Maximum torque of 245 Nm is available from 4,500 rpm. The Boxster engine offers outstanding driveability, torque and cylinder charging, as well as extremely smooth running characteristics. As a five-speed manual, the Boxster delivers a top speed of 250 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds. In other words, there's plenty of power on tap. The Boxster features McPherson axles with transverse links and suspension struts front and rear. Strict use of lightweight materials has kept the overall weight of the Boxster low, particularly the unsprung masses. Together with the mid-engined layout, the suspension system minimises rolling and pitching when cornering, braking and accelerating. Mid-corner stability is exemplary, even when exploiting the car's performance to the full. Straight-line stability is also first rate, as on all Porsche models. The interior of the Boxster is designed around you, not this year's fashion. All instruments and controls are within easy reach and arranged by importance and frequency of use.
In all a car of excellence.

Advantages: Numerous Disadvantages: Some noise; 1 month after purchase developed white growth on hood interior (mold?); servicing is steep (well, what do you expect of a Porsche?)
