Cockburns Ruby Port Although i am not a big drinker, when i do drink i generally only drink port. Port & Brandy Makes You Randy....And Posh.

Advantages: Good quality Port for a low price
Disadvantages: Not in supermarkets

A terrific Reserve Ruby Port

Advantages: Good value for money, smooth and supple flavour, good with a cigar

Smoothest of ports

Advantages: Smooth after dinner drink
Disadvantages: Bottle empties to quick

Dows Late Vintage Port is sold by years, the one i'm reviewing is the 1998 that i bought from Asda for £6.98. Bottle size is 75cl and alcohol is 20% volume compared to say whiskey which is 40% volume. The bottle is dark green and the top is sealed with a cork that can be replaced after opening. The port is produced in Portugal by Dows which was established in 1798. Late Bottle Vintage is aged in oak casks for 4 to 6 years and is ready to drink ...
