Good old-fashioned CD player!

Advantages: Simple.
Disadvantages: Old

I used to have one of these, a good old-fashioned CD player! never failed on me, not once. I must admit that i never tried running with it, but walking to and from school with one in my rucksack was never a problem. It's nothing fancy, it doesn't have a built in radio - but who ever uses them anyway? It doesn't have mp3 playback on it, but no-one had ever heard of mp3 when i had mine! Advantages: Good battery time, easy to transport and use
Disadvantages: Poor reliability, started to skip after 2yrs despite anti-skip

I purchased this quite a long time ago, prior to the mp3 craze. I wanted it to use on the school bus and the lengthy playback persuaded me to purchase it over other models. The design is quite nice, at the time it was the slimmest cd player and the metal ring on the lid is a nice touch.
